The Spawn collection is a collection of 21 unique coral NFTs, photographed by Joe Unsworth at the University of Miami Coral Lab.
Joe Unsworth is a marine biologist and macro coral photographer who has worked as a Senior Researcher at UM's Coral Lab for the last 5 years, and where he's helped identify and reproduce resilient corals that can be planted back in the ocean. In his free time, he takes macro pictures of those corals—and we think it's safe to say that you've never seen them like this before!
This collection showcases these hidden beauties through macro photography so that we may raise awareness about how important it is to protect our precious reefs, which are currently under threat due to global warming. 40% of all proceeds from this collection go towards "Rescue a Reef," which is UM's coral conservation program.
